PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — The Wisconsin Badger Football Network Postgame Show host Tim Scott joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on SportsRadio 93-7 The FAN to talk about Bret Bielema leaving the program for Arkansas, and the school’s interest in current Pitt Head Coach Paul Chryst.
Scott said one thing they learned about Chryst during his time in Wisconsin is that he’s fiercely loyal, and “we would be surprised if Paul left Pittsburgh after only one year.” Scott added that it would be a tough job to pass up though because Chryst played and coached there.
We also got into the list of coaches Wisconsin Athletic Director Barry Alvarez has, and who else would be on that list alongside Chryst.
According to Scott, the leading candidate among fans and supporters of the Wisconsin program would most likely be Chryst because of what they saw from him during his time in Wisconsin and his knowledge of their program.
We wrapped things up with Scott asking him what sort of timetable Barry Alvarez will set for filling his head coaching vacancy.
