SOMERSET TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — State police in Somerset County are searching for suspects who they say took more than $2,000 worth of various items from a local church.
According to investigators, the burglary happened at Samuels Lutheran Church on Samuels Road in Somerset Township between 9 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities say the suspect or suspects forcibly entered the church.
They were able to get away with a number of items from inside the church, including a pair of solid brass candle holders, two solid brass crosses, a dehumidifier and a gallon of Communion wine.
