POINT MARION (KDKA/AP) — A Fayette County man is facing charges after allegedly getting into a fight with his son and daughter-in-law when he was served chicken that was baked instead of fried.
According to the Associated Press, state police have charged 45-year-old George Rhome of Point Marion with simple assault and harassment charges because they say the argument turned physical.
The alleged incident happened in Point Marion around 10:15 p.m. on Sunday.
He was being held in the Fayette County Prison unable to post $20,000 bond.
He faces a preliminary hearing on Thursday.
Police say they also took the victims into custody on unspecified bench warrants out of Greene County. Police haven’t released their names or the charges they face.
