Though, seriously, this is why we want to play the game, right?

Feral Interactive is finally getting around to releasing the Game of the Year Edition of Batman: Arkham City for the Mac. The second installment of the critically acclaimed Arkham series, which started with Batman: Arkham Asylum, itself released on PC and console versions in 2009. The Mac OS X version of Arkham Asylum came out in November of last year, and now, a year later, we’ll have the pleasure of playing this fantastic game on our Macs.

The Game of the Year Edition will include all the downloadable content (DLC) along with it, so this may be a great opportunity to grab it all in one fell swoop. The extra content brings Catwoman, Nightwing, and Harley Quinn expansions to the experience, giving you a ton more content than the original game, which is pretty fantastic on its own.

No pricing or specific system requirements were revealed, according to website The Loop, but it is currently available for $50 on the Xbox 360, so we can only hope it will be priced in the same range, and require current generation Macs or so.

The Arkham Asylum game for the Mac is available on the Mac App Store for $40, and requires a 2.0 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 10 G of disk space, and at least a 128MB graphics card.
