Nov 2nd 2012, 16:54 ELLPORT (KDKA) – A teenager was flown to Children’s Hospital after being hit by a car in Lawrence County Friday morning. According to officials at the scene, the accident happened on Portersville Road in Ellport. The 17-year-old boy was crossing the street to get on the school bus when an 86-year-old woman hit him. Police said the bus had its flashing amber lights on, but the red lights were not on yet. There were several children on the bus who witnessed the accident. Police have not said if they plan to file charges.
