Winter is coming (in the Northern Hemisphere at least), and with it cold weather, frosty mornings, overcoats and gloves. And not much puts a cramp on your smartphone-toting style more than a pair of gloves or mittens. I should know — I one spent a winter in Berlin and was often forced to use the tip of my nose to launch the maps app on my iPod Touch.

The answer is Touchscreen Gloves.

These gloves come from Mujji, and let the magic capacitive power generated by human fingers pass through the wooly barrier and into the screen of the iDevice beneath. Science lesson over.

The gloves come in a range of non-depressing winter-apropriate colors: black, natural gray, sandstone, lavender and coral pink. Let me translate those last few: “Sandstone” means “beige,” “lavender” means “pink” and “coral pink” means “also pink.”

Wearing them, your hands will stay toasty warm. Mujji says that testers “literally spent hour’s [sic] texting in an icebox,” which sounds like a special kind of torture, unless you’re a teenager at a tailgater.

The price? €25, or around $32.
