PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — Steelers running back Jonathan Dwyer joined The Fan Morning Show on Wednesday to chat about his recent play, as he is coming off a 122-yard performance against the Bengals on Sunday.
Dwyer hadn’t rushed for more than 50 yards in any of his first three games, and he said that tasting success will only motivate him further.
“It makes me work harder so I can do more and do better,” Dwyer explained. “All it does is give you more confidence.”
He added that he thinks that the team’s stable of running backs is doing a great job as a group, and that he isn’t hoping for the returns of Isaac Redman or Rashard Mendenhall to be delayed.
