NESHANNOCK TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — An intense fire destroyed two mobile homes overnight in Lawrence County.
The owner of the Sunnycrest Mobile Home Park in Neshannock Township returned home around 3 a.m. to find his home on fire.
The flames quickly spread to a second trailer where a couple had just minutes to get out with their 3-month-old boy.
They had just moved in a few weeks ago.
"We heard a big bang, so it woke me up," said Carrie Boyer, one of the fire victims. "All the sudden, we heard the landlord pounding on our door and told us to get out and his trailer was on fire."
There's no word on what caused the fire.
"When the police got here, both of them were well involved," added Chief John DiCola, of the Neshannock Township Fire Department. "These burn quickly, so there's not much we can do."
There were no injuries reported.
